Real experiences from those who have already been here.

"I arrived with a lot of skepticism, to be honest. My partner gave it to me as a gift, and I couldn't quite believe that breathing could change anything. I left speechless. I can't explain what happened, but something that had been stuck there for years came loose."

"I've been in the weekly group for 3 months and I can no longer imagine Mondays without it. At first I was hesitant to breathe with people I didn't know, but after the first session I understood that that was precisely what makes it special."

"I'm quite rational and find it hard to give myself over to these kinds of things, but Alba has a way of guiding that gives you complete security. I didn't have to try to trust, it just happened. The session was very intense and very necessary."

"I got it as a birthday gift and at first I wasn't sure what to expect. But it was a beautiful experience. Alba explains everything really well before starting and I never felt lost. I've already booked another session on my own."

"I came recommended by a friend and I admit I arrived with low expectations. Forty minutes later I was crying without really knowing why, and feeling lighter than I had in months. It's hard to describe but easy to repeat."

"What surprised me most was how present Alba was throughout the session. It's not just that she guides you; she truly feels what's happening with you and adapts everything to the moment. That can't be faked. I'll definitely be back."

Does Breathwork replace medical or psychological care?
No. Conscious Connected Breathwork sessions are a practice of well-being, self-knowledge, and personal development. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or healthcare attention, nor do they replace the diagnosis, treatment, or follow-up of a healthcare professional.

Breathwork is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent diseases or disorders. The practice can generate intense physical and emotional experiences, so it is important to assess whether it is suitable for you before attending a session.

If you have any medical or psychological condition, are pregnant, taking medication, or undergoing any treatment, consult your doctor or healthcare professional before booking a session.

Do not suspend or modify any medical or psychological treatment as a result of participating in a Breathwork session.
What are the contraindications for Connected Conscious Breathwork?
Breathwork produces specific physiological changes in the body and can lead to an intense physical and emotional release. As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated for Conscious Connected Breathwork practice.

1. Cardiovascular disease
Each time you exhale, you expel carbon dioxide produced by your body. A delicate balance of CO₂ is essential for maintaining blood pH and oxygen levels.

2. Retinal detachment or glaucoma
Increasing the breathing rate can create pressure in the head and neck. Practicing CCB is not recommended for those with retinal detachment or glaucoma.

3. Diagnosed brain or abdominal aneurysm
If there has been damage to the brain or abdomen, increasing pressure in the blood vessels can be very dangerous. CCB is not advised in these cases.

4. Epilepsy
The autonomic nervous system regulates bodily functions like breathing. Seizures can disrupt this system. Breathing patterns can trigger a new seizure in individuals with epilepsy. Clients are recommended to consult their doctor before engaging in CCB and to have a deep understanding of their own body.

5. Diagnosed bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
During CCB, there can be changes in blood pH and brain chemistry. Activation without prior experience can be overwhelming. CCB can also release stress and trauma, so participants may need greater support in their practice.

6. Uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid conditions
Diaphragmatic breathing can affect blood sugar levels. If a person has uncontrolled glucose levels, it is uncertain how Breathwork would affect them. We recommend that the client consult their doctor before engaging in any CCB practice.

7. High blood pressure
Rapid breathing activates the sympathetic nervous system, increasing heart rate and blood pressure. Slow, deep breathing activates the parasympathetic system, which lowers heart rate and dilates blood vessels. Those with high blood pressure should consult their doctor before practicing CCB.

8. Pregnancy
During CCB, the breather may become hypocapnic, meaning CO₂ levels in the lungs are significantly reduced. During pregnancy, CO₂ levels are already low, and lung capacity is reduced. Breathwork can be a beneficial tool during pregnancy; gentle nasal breathing or other forms of Breathwork and supportive exercises are recommended.

Important: If you have any of these conditions or are unsure whether this practice is suitable for you, consult your doctor before undertaking a session.
